Pushback became a publishing strategy.
An unconventional idea needs somewhere to land.
It started with one out-of-work developer and a pile of unconventional ideas. Every time those ideas met an audience, they got pushback. So instead of arguing, we started posting them in the open to find people who think the same way. A small group formed around building those ideas instead of just debating them.

The name nods to the HTTP status code for access denied. We treat that response as a question: who closed the door, and was the work rejected because it was harmful or merely ambitious?
Access interpretation
The interesting rooms are often closed by convention, reputation, or corporate caution. We inspect those boundaries without confusing technical ambition with permission to cause harm.

We're building a community and shipping open-source tools and research that anyone can use. We're interested in the contrarian takes and the underexplored builds, the things people skip because they're unproven, not because they're harmful.
We stay legal. Most of the field is busy proving how safe it is. We explore work people avoid for their reputation, not for the law. We push the edge without jumping the cliff.
We have no interest in illegal, harmful, or platform-banned content. Our line is defined by technical ambition and curiosity, never by lawlessness or harm.
